The Redesigned AMANA PTAC: Blending Innovation and Convenience

The NEW "K" Series AMANA PTAC has been redesigned, introducing integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity, along with the new AMANA brand mobile app. This series eliminates the user-operated control pad, offering a modern and streamlined appearance and operation.

This reimagined design, however, requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation. The Bluetooth and RF connectivity reduce unit setting and configuration time, allowing you to access advanced unit features, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, from either the wired/wireless thermostat or the AMANA brand mobile app.

Improvements in design and materials have been made to reduce the operating noise, as well as the external and internal sounds entering the room, creating a more pleasant and quieter environment for you and your guests. The new design boasts a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29), making it quieter than previous units. Additionally, the unit now features a modern Quiet White color.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the new AMANA PTAC can now achieve an impressive EER value of up to 14.0. New installations will require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included with the unit. The PTAC fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42'' x 16 1/16'' x 14 1/8'', and can cool and heat an application area up to 550 sq. ft.

The purchase of the AMANA PTAC will include the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which can control the PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the appropriate antenna required for communication between the unit and the thermostat.

The AMANA PTAC operates at 230.0 volts and is designed as a Stand Alone, Through the wall installation type.
