The Amana brand PTAC products, which customers have come to love over the years, and the Distinctions brand of PTAC units are stocked and sold from the same warehouse. All units are 100% run tested, including leak checks, during manufacturing and again prior to shipment at the warehouse.

The DCP093A35AA comes equipped with automatic freeze protection. If the PTAC unit senses the temperature drop below 40 degrees, the fan motor and electric heat strip will turn on without user intervention.
