AMANA PTAC 12,000 BTU Air Conditioner with 3.5 kW Heater and 20 Amp Plug, White

The redesigned Amana PTAC "K" Series features integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity, along with the new Amana brand mobile app, providing a modern and streamlined appearance and operation. This re-imagined design requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation, but the Bluetooth and RF connectivity reduces unit setting and configuration time. Users can access advanced unit features, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, from either the wired/wireless thermostat or the Amana brand mobile app.

Improved design and materials have reduced the operating noise and the transmission of exterior and operating sounds into the room, creating a more pleasant and quieter environment. The new design achieves a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29), making it quieter than previous units, and also includes a new modern Quiet White color.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the new Amana PTAC can now achieve an EER value of up to 14.0. New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included in the purchase. The unit fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8" and can cool and heat an application area up to 550 sq. ft.

The purchase includes the Amana MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which can control the Amana PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the appropriate antenna required for communication between the unit and the thermostat.

The Amana PTAC "K" Series operates at 230.0 volts and has a capacity of 1.0 ounces. The form factor is Stand Alone, and the installation type is Through the wall.
