AMANA PTAC 12,000 BTU Air Conditioner with 3.5 kW Heater - R32

The newly redesigned "J" Series R32 Amana PTAC introduces integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity, along with a new Amana brand mobile app, offering a modern and streamlined appearance and operation. This re-imagined design requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation, with the Bluetooth and RF connectivity reducing unit setting and configuration time. Users can access advanced unit features, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, from either the wired/wireless thermostat or the Amana brand mobile app.

Improved design and materials have been incorporated to reduce the operating noise and the transmission of exterior and operating sounds into the room, creating a more pleasant and quieter environment. The new design achieves a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29), making it quieter than previous units, and also includes a new modern Quiet White color.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the new Amana PTAC can now achieve an EER value of up to 14.0. New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included. The unit fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8" and can cool and heat an application area up to 350 sq. ft. The purchase will include the Amana DSA02NO Wireless Thermostat, allowing users to control their Amana PTAC from anywhere in the room.
