AMANA PTAC 15,000 BTU Air Conditioner with 3.5 kW Heater, White

The redesigned Amana "K" Series PTAC now features integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity, along with a new Amana brand mobile app, reducing unit setting and configuration time. This modern and streamlined unit eliminates the user-operated control pad and requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation.

The Bluetooth and RF connectivity allows for advanced unit troubleshooting and diagnostics, accessible from either the thermostat or the Amana mobile app. The improved design and materials have reduced the unit's operating noise, as well as the transmission of exterior and operating sounds into the room, resulting in a more pleasant and quieter environment.

The new PTAC boasts a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating, making it quieter than previous models. Additionally, the unit features a new modern Quiet White color. Designed and assembled in the U.S.A. for over 45 years, the Amana PTAC can now achieve an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of up to 14.0.

New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included with the unit. The PTAC fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8" and can cool and heat an application area up to 850 sq. ft.

The purchase will include the Amana MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which can control the PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the appropriate antenna required for communication between the unit and the thermostat.

The PTAC operates at 230.0 volts and has a capacity of 1.0 ounces. It is designed for through-the-wall installation. The new Amana "K" Series PTAC comes with a 5-Year Limited Warranty, ensuring quality and reliability.
